How this process works - Please read carefully!

As has been the case in years past, each item on this year's list has been requested by a person with an intellectual, physical and/or developmental disability (served by Journeys), who otherwise might not receive any gifts for Christmas, due to family passing away or non-involvement. The Journeys in Community Living Human Resources Department also considers each individual's situation and takes into account several other factors. For more information on the selection process, please contact Rachel Burch, HR Director, at 615-890-4389 (Mon - Fri 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.).

Each individual was allotted a certain number of selections this year based on need. Every person is represented on this list by a Random ID (example: 1M). The number of requests from an individual is represented by the number present in the Random ID (example: 1M-1 would correspond to the person's first request while 1M-2 would refer to the second request for this same person). The sex of the person is represented by the presence of an M or F (example: 29F-2 means it was requested by a female). The first set of numbers represent the random identifier (example: 41M-1).

You may choose to fulfill one item for one individual, all items (example: 1, 2 and 3) for one individual or single or multiple items for more than one individual -- the choice is yours!

IMPORTANT: Please remember, do not make any purchases until after we have confirmed your selections by email, at which point those selections will be removed from this online list. This will aid us in avoiding duplication!

Once you have purchased the gifts, if you decide to wrap them, please be sure to affix the random ID associated with it on the outside of the wrapping paper, which will aid us in getting the right gifts to the correct individuals! If you'd rather we wrap the gifts, then affix the random ID directly on the gift itself. You can drop off the gifts Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. (we are closed for Thanksgiving on 11/27 and 11/28). You may also choose to mail the gifts to Journeys' main office at 1130 Haley Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. The deadline to turn in gifts is 4 p.m. Dec. 12.
